Tarot For Your Growth and Consideration: Ace of Pentacles

Estimated read is 2 minutes.

Here’s another short post that was dreamed up in a local coffee shop, different than last time, here in Baños de Agua Santa, Ecuador.

The tarot card I pulled was the Ace of Pentacles reversed. With a lot of immigration-related expenses and, honestly, a lack of funds, it really gave me something to think about.

A Message: Ace of Pentalces Reversed

We have to be mindful of what we can give, and I’d say, how much we can spend.

It’s not only money that we can give or spend. Our time, money, energy, and attention have value.

We have to know our worth and where opportunities to grow exist.

Abundance can be acquired by giving intuitively and from the heart.

Some tips from the Ace of Pentacles Reversed:

  1. Be mindful of spending and plan accordingly

  2. Don’t take more than you can afford to give in return - this is about more than money

  3. Work with what you got. It could be more than you imagine

  4. Take stock of how much you have - of time, of money, of energy, etc. Budget accordingly.

In Closing

Earlier this month and last month, I reduced some of my costs but also spent a little bit more time and money being out with friends. To me, this felt like investments well served. I try to offset spending by reducing expenses for extra items. You won’t find me spending any money on cosmetic items, clothing, or expensive foods, though I do splurge on a coffee shop visit now and then to work, obvio.

Below are some more photos from my recent adventures in Baños where good time, energy, and money have been spent and for which I’m grateful.

  1. Chopping up fresh veggies

  2. The local dogs and a queen

  3. Some cards I came across called the “Power of Intention”

  4. A much needed late night pool session

  5. Churripan at the Churrijam con canzonla

  6. My favorite little Mocha in Banos

  7. The homecooked breakfast I make that grounds me
