Truthfully, I’ve been having some troubles lately. My mental health hasn’t been great, and I’ve been doing my best to just keep moving forward, one foot in front of another. I have a path forward, I’m just hitting a speed bump.
In the meantime, I’ve been pulling some personal tarot cards for reflection to get me through this rough patch.
Maybe you’re feeling the same, or maybe a bit different. In any case, below I’m sharing a short collective reading that might resonate with you if you’ve found yourself here.
The King of Wands reversed and the Eight of Cups
Did you have big plans? Maybe things haven’t worked out exactly as expected. Take a moment to recoup and readjust. Maybe some misteps where taken previously. You might need some time alone to process your feelings and emotions from all you’ve learned in this season of life. Try to go with the flow right now instead of trying to force anything and plan some next steps that feel a bit more aligned to your current reality.
Tarot Nova by Dennis Fairchild.
Consider the following:
Schedule time alone
If you’ve had a full social schedule, now’s a good time to spend some time with yourself. Try to be intentional about what you do with this alone time, no doomscrolling!Journal
Write or type a bit about your current situation and where you envision moving forward next. Don’t worry about things being perfect. Just getting things out can help with processing.Spend some time outside
Get in a little water or dirt and connect with nature. We are part of vast systems, and sometimes sun and fresh air are reminders of all that is possible.
