Onward with the Eight of Cups

Estimated read is 2 minutes.

It’s the season of the cempasúchil, or Marigolds, in Mexico right now during Día de Muertos. The bright orange flower, representing guiding lights for our deceased loved ones, can be found on every street. As I write this, I have six pots of them throughout my house and at my ofrenda. I still want more.

They are only a small part of the rich culture found here. The colors and rituals surrounding death and celebrating life in Ciudad de Mexico are all beautiful. They serve as reminders that the ending of our Earthly life is another part of our journey.

Below, I hope you find this message from the Eight of Pentacles refreshing, no matter what part of the journey you are currently on.
